Assume you pursuing a Masters of Science degree in aeronautical engineering. You are applying to 7 different colleges. You have a BS in Electrical Engineering and close to finishing a BS in Physics. You have spent 17 years on active duty service in the Air Force working with Missile and General Purpose Bomb Systems.
Your goal and dream has always to work in either NASA or SpaceX and be part of a team that works towards sending a man to Mars. You have always been fascinated with everything space form the days when your father worked in the industry at Boeing as an inspector of aeronautical parts and components.
You are first generation college graduate from your family and extended family
You were obsessed with rockets and the apollo missions growing up as a child
You went into the air force to become a part of something that is focused on cutting edge aeronautics
You focused on taking the hardest STEM courses to gain as much information as how to build and design rockets and aircraft
