You are tasked with planning the Mass Bar Association conference taking place April 1 – 2, 2023. This event is for 300 people and will require overnight rooms and a large event space.
You need to find a hotel in Boston that will accommodate this group. Remember, pricing is an issue, so it can’t be over the top expensive, but it also needs to be a location that guests will want to come to. You do not need to check if the hotel has availability, you just need need to find a hotel that has 300 rooms and event space.
Answer the following questions:
1. Select a hotel. Why did you select this hotel?
2. What are the room rates for this hotel for these dates? (If these dates are not available yet, you can use the current rates)
3. What is the rate for the event space rental? (Check the events information section of their website.)
4. What attractions does the hotel have for guests? Ex, restaurants, bars, spa, pool, health club, etc.
5. Find one activity that guests can do in the area on these dates. Ex, Sports event, Theater, Tour, Concert, Museums, Etc.
Be sure to check the hotel web site to see if you can find answers to all of your questions before you officially select your hotel. You may need to check a few hotel web sites before you find one that has all of the information that you need.
