Sparklines are a small graphic that helps to illustrate trends in data.
Using the attached PowerPoint steps and your assigned state level data create Sparklines for both the number of inpatient beds occupied by a COVID patient and the percentage of beds occupied by a COVID patient. Each will need to have a high and low point marked in a different color.
It may be helpful to delete all of the information pertaining to the states that you are not analyzing.
Write up a brief summary of the results. In your summary, highlight important numbers found, and provide meaning to the results and their significance. You will be graded by both the quality of the work as well as the layout.
Please make sure you title any graphs, assure the page is easy to read, all variables/axis/tables/etc. are labeled, etc. Your submission should be well laid out, easy to read, and interpret.
Be sure to use same Excel spreadsheet for all assignments by saving them in separate tabs. This assignment tab will be “Excel Assignment 1,” then the next will be “Excel Assignment 2,” and so on. You can keep your data in a tab titled “Data” for ease of reference.
