For the final project, you should work individually or in groups of two on how the pandemic and the subsequent recession affected the economy.
Choose a single state, a single country, or a group of states/countries to focus on. Choose states of the US for data availability considerations.
Also, if we cover a good number of states in this project, we can use the papers you write for comparing states with each other. Your chosen state/country should be approved.
Your report should include, in part, an analysis of the severity of the pandemic and lockdowns, and an analysis of the important economic measures such as GDP, unemployment and labor force, and how these economic indicators were affected by the pandemic.
