Overview
You are working for a General Contractor and will be bidding on a Fresh-and-Easy project.
You have been given the responsibility for the following scopes of work (SOWs):
Aluminum Storefront (Div 08411 Aluminum Doors, Frames, and Windows)
Interior and Exterior Paint (Div 09911 Painting)

Prepare a Bid Tab using the deliverable for Bid Tab & Sub Selection template that is provided. Do this for each Scope of Work:
1 Bid Tab for Aluminum Storefront (Div 08411Aluminum Doors, Frames & Windows)
1 Bid Tab for Interior and Exterior Paint (Div 09911 Painting)
You are responsible for the yellow highlighted cells (columns G, I, J, K, L) for each SOW:
Description (column G) should be an organized, full breakout of the individual items included within each Scope of Work
The quantity and unit (columns I and J) should be your QTOs
The unit price (column K) should be based on the GC’s historic cost database
The total (column L) should be provided on a line-by-line basis
Assume you pulled the following from your historic cost database as a GC:
Aluminum Storefront System with 1” insulated glass: $24.10/sf (clear finish)
Aluminum Storefront Anodized Finish: Add 15% (if applicable)
Aluminum Doors: $466 each
Interior Painted Surfaces: $0.55/sf (historic average for all kinds of interior surfaces)
Exterior Painted Surfaces: $1.42/sf (historic average for all kinds of exterior surfaces)
You are also responsible for filling in the Scope column for each Subcontractor Bid
Prepare a detailed breakdown of each sub’s bid in Columns O (and beyond… as many columns as subcontractor bids)
Also provide a brief explanation of why you chose the specific subs for each Scope of Work. Provide 1-2 paragraphs maximum per sub (bullet points are fine). This can be on a separate Word document or at the bottom of each SOW’s bid tab.
