Students will select an ethical issue to examine, and write a scholarly paper on the issue’s importance to public health.
The paper will examine the issue, including its antecedents, dimensions, ethical analysis, cultural dynamics, and the position of the public health profession on the issue.
National, state, and/or healthcare organizations’ policies or stance surrounding this issue should be reviewed, and evaluated, with recommendations or suggestions for enhancement.
Succinct examples and illustrations will be an important part of this paper as they are in any ethical discussion.
