Self care
As human services professionals, we ask others with whom we work to look at themselves honestly and to decide what they want to change or improve upon. We must be open to the same scrutiny.
We need to ask these questions: “In what ways are you capable of helping others and yourself?” As we work intimately with others, we have a responsibility to be committed to awareness of our own life issues, including our own anxiety.
