1. You volunteer for the Riverside Volleyball Enthusiasts Association, a nonprofit group that organizes amateur volleyball leagues and tournaments. Your current email-based software makes it difficult for players to find teams, sign up for events, hire referees, and reserve equipment. Propose a better system to organize these tasks and improve member satisfaction.
2. You work in the Event Services Department at University of Redlands. Recently, your team has had trouble tracking the furniture and audiovisual equipment that you use to set up event space, leading to several customer complaints. Propose a better system to document your inventory and make sure it’s distributed on time to the correct rooms.
3. You work in Human Resources for Deloitte, focusing on the company’s internship program. While your program attracts many talented UCR students, you are having trouble recruiting them for full-time positions at Deloitte after they graduate. Propose a way to enhance your retention strategies to make them appeal more to UCR students.
