This assignment is a patchwork assessment, requiring you to summarise 3 topics/ patches. For each topic/ patch you will need to discuss 2 main points only to ensure you discuss these in enough depth e. g.
If you choose non-verbal communication for one topic/ patch then you might choose to discuss eye contact and touch. Each topic/ patch should be approximately 500 words and you must use relevant academic literature.
Identify in a table one point from each topic/ patch and discuss how you will apply this to your work on placement from your own personal viewpoint, for this part you can write in the first person. We want you to think about what you personally need to develop. not just talk theoretically about what nurses in general should do. This should be approximately 500 words in total, making the total assignment 2000 words in length.
