Students will choose one topic in any area of sonography. In addition to the topic you will write about, you should include a section related to how patient care themes apply to your topic.
You may use the course textbook, but you must also use at least 3 additional sources. Sources should consist of textbooks, peer review journal articles, and information from other medical websites (e.g., WebMD, Mayo Clinic, etc.). The paper should be a minimum of 3-4 pages in length (this is a guideline, not a word count).
Students must use APA style for all relevant assignments. Points will be deducted for improper citations, references, or other errors of style. Students may find the following websites useful.
