You are to pick a god, goddess or mythical character/hero to work with for this writing assignment.
This may require that you read a bit more about your choice in the mythology book or do a bit of research from other sources (library and/or Internet).
Identify who you are comparing yourself with and provide a full description of your god, goddess or mythical character/hero for needed background information.
In the body section, you will need to do the following things.
Identify two positive character traits and one negative character trait (character flaw) you share with your god, goddess or mythical character.
This will be done in three separate (well developed) paragraphs. Use SPECIFIC EXAMPLES.
In the conclusion, discuss what you would do for one day if you had your god’s, goddess’s or mythical character’s/hero’s supernatural ability(s) and/or power(s). Explain what you would do for this one day and why.
You will submit a completed rough draft to Smarthinking.com sometime during the process of this assignment. This is an OPTIONAL BONUS (15 pts.) You will submit the email from the e-structor with his/her comments and suggestions and your draft with the embedded comments from your e-structor, along with your final essay. You can and may submit your draft more than once. If you do so, please submit the most recent email and embedded rough draft with your final essay.
Evaluation Criteria
