Primary point of contact for shift work in sorting and preparing mail for distribution by a mail carrier. Assist in loading and unloading mail carrier vehicles at the beginning and end of shift. Secure undelivered mail. Load and operate mail processing, sorting, and canceling machinery.
Skilled in sorting and organize mail for future delivery. Work in vast postal service localities, traveling to multiple locations weekly upon demand. Also work multiple shifts hours depending on season. Expert in bundle, label, and route sorted mail to designated areas, depending on destinations and according to established procedures and deadlines.
