PROMPT: You are a celebrated public intellectual. People are curious to know your opinion. One day, The New York Times editor contacted you and commissioned you to write an essay about one art piece currently on display in New York City museums created after 1400 CE (Non-Western Art after 1600 CE) for the Opinion page.
