Role of Empathy in Psychology
Empathy as a part of psychology
Empathy is defined as an understanding of a condition of another person from their perspective. For empathy, there have to be three major ingredients namely; affect detection, imaginative transposition and boundary formation (Medina 55).
Affect detection is when a person can detect emotion of another person while imaginative transposition is when a person knows how other people feel about something.
