MY TOPIC: There have been plenty of news on cell phone batteries recently. What was the cause of some batteries bursting into flame? Do you know these rechargeable batteries only have a limited life cycle typically lasting for only 2 to 3 years?
These are some thoughts (you can go with different direction): will start with 1 or 2 battery explosion cases, and give an introduction for lithium-ion battery. Then, have a thorough research about how the battery is made, what is the principle of the lithium-ion battery and how lithium-ion battery works etc.. My approach is to figure out the possible factors that cause the safety concerns. Lastly, want to talk about how to maintain the battery health for our cell phone/laptop so that it can give a normal performance.
