Lesson Plan and Theories
For this assignment you will be pulling several different theories together and applying them to a short lesson.
You will be submitting TWO documents (lesson plan and discussion):
The Lesson Plan –
Develop a short lesson plan (20-30 min) on a subject of your choice.
Identify the level of your students ( make your lesson for middle school, high school or adults – your choice).
Include one activity that uses technology – make sure that the technology enhances the learning experience and is not simply an add-on. (In other words, why is the lesson better with the technology?)
NOTE: Your lesson plan should be no more than two pages.
Your discussion –
Explain how your lesson design “fits” with the theory you selected for chapter 7.
Explain how your lesson design “fits” with the theory you selected for chapter 8.
Explain how you are addressing ONE of the 12 Cognitive Theories of Multimedia Learning (CTML) .
NOTE: Your discussion should be at least 500 words.
