After reviewing farmers during the Great Depression and the relative success of President Roosevelt’s New Deal, you now turn your attention to criticism of the New Deal.
Compile your notes into an outline for a 3-page essay (of at least 5 paragraphs) in which you answer the following question:
What made the long, Townsend, and Sinclair proposals attractive to Americans who wanted additional assistance to the needy? Why?
