Summary Analysis
This dataset includes staffing transaction details for a six month period. The transactions are for employees distributed across three job family groups: Administrative, Faculty, Student.
The university is interested in ensuring that HR transactions are processed in a timely manner. We use the following rubric to evaluate our success:
Excellent: Fewer than 3 days
Successful – 3 to 5 days
Unsuccessful – More than 5 days
Retroactive transactions (those which were completed after the effective date of the transaction) are also a primary concern for the university.
Use this dataset to perform an analysis of our level of transactional success by campus, job family group and request type. Be aware that the dataset found on the Detail tab does not include Job Family Group but the Job Family Groups tab contains the data you will need to fully complete this analysis. Be prepared to explain if/how those results change when retroactivity is taken into account.
