Question 1.
Technology is an important enabler of a company’s ability to manage its supply chain and optimize performance.
Select one (1) technology that is either currently in use or is in development to be used that can positively impact a firm’s supply chain management and operations. Research the capabilities and impacts of this technology and write a 2–3-page white paper that:
Provides an overview of the technology.
Describes a key issue/opportunity in Supply Chain Management that can be addressed using this technology.
Describes how the use of this technology addresses that issue/opportunity.
Provides a compelling reason why a Supply Chain Manager should take advantage of this opportunity.
Note: Assume the White Paper is going to be read by busy Supply Chain Managers. These busy managers (like some professors) are not looking for lots of words and filler – they want to know all the critical facts and ideas presented in a clear, readable, and compelling manner.
Question 2.
4-page summary/explanation/discussion of the supply chain and related U.S. Port issues. You must use at least three references.
