Writing: Essay Outline
Draft an outline for your essay on Community and paste it in the space below. Your outline should contain the following:
An argument statement at the top
A short, 1-2 sentence summary of each paragraph
For each paragraph, list an example, source, or piece of evidence you’re planning to use and an explanation of how the paragraph supports your argument or central claim.
A conclusion statement that emphasizes the significance of your argument
Your outline should be structured so that your instructor can tell how the paragraphs are connected and how you’re using evidence to support your argument.
