Answer the following question within 150 words and must include at least 4 references.
Question – As a registered nurse you will have a significant role in leadership, not only in relation to the position of trust nurses hold and are held in but also in relation to how the role extends beyond influencing patient care and outcomes. What else does leadership mean for the New Graduate RN?
The answer must refer to 2 types of leadership models such as Transformational leadership, Democratic leadership or Laissez Faire leadership. ie a good form of leadership and a not so good form of leadership. It must then link to the key words in the question being leadership, care, support, interpersonal team, local and regional.It must be concise and succinct and include at least 4 references. References can be no older then about 8 to 10 years.
