Part 1. What themes and/or topics are most looking forward to learning about in this class? What experiences have you had studying modern American history?
Part 2. Based on the Reconstruction lesson, answer the following:
a.) Explain one thing you found to be the most important about the age of Reconstruction (1865-1877).
b.) Union victory in the Civil War and changes to the constitution brought an end to Black slavery in the United States, yet when the age of Reconstruction ended in 1877, most historians consider the age of the Civil War and Reconstruction to have been a half-revolution. Why?
