Your second essay will be driven by an argument statement but must be based in ninteenth-century (particularly Romantic-era literature) vis-a-vis Identity. Here are some steps to consider.
Step one: pick a general topic.:-GENDER FLUIDITY,
Step two: select at least two readings in the syllabus related to your topic:-DO Orlando by Virginia Wolf and The Last Man By Mary Shelley.
Step three: find a peer-reviewed, scholarly article or book-length work to integrate into your argument. Better than simply integrating a scholar you agree with would be to find a scholar with whom you disagree: that’s critical thinking!
