ASSIGNMENT
Submit three field notes in total for this course.
Each week of the course that is identified as a Fieldwork Experience Week, you will document an event or activity that occurred during this week. This event or activity may concern your project work such as a committee or individual meeting that was held, or may be your observations in regards to your fieldwork experience in terms of regulatory issues (standards, policies, accreditation, or regulation of nursing, etc.) for that week.
This field note may also be a reflection on the leadership style, skills, or model of your preceptor or on a leader in the organization where you are engaged in your fieldwork. You may also reflect on areas of leadership that you have learned about through your fieldwork experience that have impacted you in your own leadership development.
Document this field note in a 1.5- to 2.5-page written narrative.
Include 2-3 references from recent (within past five years) peer-reviewed articles/texts etc. that support your statements or analysis of the regulatory or leadership concepts or issues.
