You will read the Faith and Work case from the Ivey CoursePack and answer the questions. Will need to answer the following questions in your Faith and Works project:
What is the place of religion in the workplace? Should people be allowed to practice their religion in the workplace? Why? Why not?
Do you think organizations should be asking about people’s religious beliefs and practices? If not, how can they accommodate religion as mandated by Title VII?
What do you believe generates most Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims, and how well do you believe organizations are prepared to meet employees’ needs?
Assuming organizations need to accommodate religious practices, how do organizations need to change? What would the organizations look like? Specifically, what policies, practices and organizational changes would need to be put in place?
Do you plan on personally integrating your faith into your work? If so, in what ways will you do so, if not, why not?
