Module 4 introduced you to some of the social factors that affect aging. Social isolation and loneliness are increasingly possible as people age.
Use FSCJ’s databases to find scholarly, peer-reviewed research on reasons for social isolation and loneliness among the elderly. According to the evidence, what can be done to solve the problem of elder loneliness? Also consider whether social isolation is worse for elders than for other age groups, and if so, why.
Share with the class the findings from the research you read. Next, read and reply to the posts of at least two other students. Three replies, with the first post on the first day of interaction, and the last two on two different days, are needed for an exemplary interaction.
