Soil contamination project summary
For the weekly discussion, research Superfund, which is a federal government program charged with cleaning up the nation’s most uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Visit the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) website Superfund Sites Where You Live.
Review one of the soil contamination project summaries in your area, where you grew up, or any other area of interest. Report back to the class, including the specific project, the state in which it is located, and the remediation strategy(ies) used for soil decontamination (make sure to select a soils project!). Embed images, maps, and video where you can.
