Between 1946 and 1960, 160 Resolutions were adopted by the United Nations Security Council of which the United States sits as a permanent member.
For this assignment you will choose any resolution dated between 1946 and 1960 and answer the following questions and instructions about it:
Summarize the Resolution. What was it about?
What was the voting summary? How many people were for the resolution and how many against?
Do you agree with the outcome of the resolution? Why or why not?
If you were representing the United States in the UN Security Council what would have you done during the resolution? Would you have voted in favor or against? Why?
