This week’s readings suggest that pedophilia is significantly misunderstood as a mental health disorder. Identify and discuss what some of these misunderstandings are. Follow up with providing an overview of your opinion if you feel pedophilia is a treatable disorder.
Objectives:
LO1: Summarize the link between mental illness and criminal behavior.
LO2: Debate how mental health issues influence behavior.
