Research Proposal about the concept of space exploration
1. Provide an introduction containing background information about your problematic topic (one paragraph).
2. Briefly state the overall issue and illustrate why your topic needs to be researched and addressed (one paragraph).
3. Propose your tentative angle or angles and the reasons why you propose to focus on that angle.
4. Provide poignant research questions in order to demonstrate your scope of the issue and what you plan to address through research. (5-6 research questions)
5. Provide a plan of action (timeline), also detailing any sources you currently have located (you can just list the citations in MLA-style.)
6. List your qualifications, including any possible bias from your own background. Is there a reason you should or shouldn’t be the one writing about this topic?
7. Provide a half to full page single-spaced formal outline (you do not have to follow it in the paper) with a potential or tentative working argument statement (this can obviously change). Do a little research about the technique involved in a formal outline.
