Each team will also submit a analysis paper that includes a summary of the factors that the student team has considered in thinking about, designing, and starting a new group service. Write an analysis describing how your team addressed the following factors relevant to the group service proposed for your agency.
Information may be obtained from agency brochures and policy manuals, from agency administrators, from group and family workers, from clients, from the professional social work literature, from research and practice articles, and from your observation of group sessions.
The paper is formal in nature, and SHOULD NOT simply consist of the following questions followed by your answers.
Describe the needs and challenges faced by clients in your agency and how these are addressed by the use of the proposed group service.
What kind of group service is already being offered in this agency? What were the reasons for selecting the type of group service you proposed?
What factors related to group composition did the worker take into account in planning this group ?
