Using the same group scenario you identified in Unit 6, continue to build on your work with the group and with Sam. The group scenario gave you a framework for your group and your client Sam. Using a group theory as a guide, develop a plan for one group session. During your group session, Sam shares that (s)he has relapsed. Sam reports drinking six alcoholic drinks the previous weekend. Sam indicates that sharing this information with the group was hard and (s)he is afraid what will happen to them. Sam also states “This is an awful waste of time. There is no hope of me staying sober.”
