Final Project Assignment
In this class, we’ve discussed the history of Newark since its founding up to the present.
Now, you’re going to engage in your own public history project to connect this history to contemporary issues.
For this assignment, work in groups using YouTube as your social media platform. You will create a 10–minute video about a part of Newark history and connect it to a contemporary issue.
Like your writing assignments, your video needs to have an argument, primary and secondary sources, be well–organized, demonstrate analytical thinking, and provide the viewer with a key takeaway.
