Topic: Food insecurity among minorities in California
Research (explore) a health topic in great detail: (1) discuss how social determinants (social, cultural and environmental risk factors) are shaping trends, distribution and outcomes of a public health problem of interest and (2) analyze how these social determinants of health affect health and disease among different populations and community/settings.
For this paper, conduct an extensive literature search of the scholarly research using the scholarly search engines (PsychInfo, PubMed) and other scholarly search engines like GoogleScholar. Also locate and access existing epidemiological data sources that include social determinants of health related data that inform understanding of the health problem identified.
