Networking
The early design of the internet was born out of the development of military communications, funded by DARPA. David D. Clark acted as the chief protocol architect from 1981 to 1989, laying much of the foundation for the modern internet today.
For this assignment, you will be reading “The Design Philosophy of the DARPA Internet Protocols” by Clark published in 1988 explaining the design philosophy behind the DARPA Internet, which gives a clearer understanding of why many aspects of the internet are the way they are today.
