A New Developmental Plan
You are the HR manager at a large accounting firm. You are implementing a new developmental plan for the staff accountants. You have been asked to create a slide presentation that you would use to explain this new program to management.
Make sure your presentation includes the following:
List the specific objectives of a developmental plan.
Is the developmental plan dictated by the needs of the employee or of the organization? Explain.
What is the direct supervisor’s role in the creation of a developmental plan?
What is the employee’s role in the creation of a developmental plan?
Provide a list of possible developmental activities.
Develop a 10- to 12-slide presentation, not including the title and reference pages, which are required.
You must include a minimum of two paragraphs of notes within the speaker’s note section (for EACH slide) to enhance your slide and prevent clutter, realizing this is a slide presentation for leadership. You may also add audio, if you choose.
