Case Study: Changing a Performance Management System
Consider a company that you have worked for previously, or a company that you know well (or data is publicly available) and address the following in a 2-3-page paper:
Outline a strategic change that was undertaken by the company. Provide a brief summary of the situation including the reason for the change.
How did the company implement these changes in relation to the performance management system?
What are some of the identifiers for the performance management system that were employed by the company
What was the outcome of these strategy changes? In your opinion, was the new strategy and performance management system successfully implemented and achieved? Why or why not?
What would you change or keep the same in relation to the implementation strategy used by the company to integrate these changes and associated performance measurement metrics? Include at least one area of improvement, add one you would implement the same way.
