Introduce yourself
My curiosity and passion for science and technology are what define me as a person. My passion started one winter night in 2017, when I was sitting with my family watching the wonderful movie “Passengers,” which depicts the journey of an immense interstellar spacecraft carrying thousands of people to a distant colony planet.
Despite the fact that it is a science-fiction movie, I was astounded by the extensive use of artificial intelligence techniques, including those for medical purposes, such as an MRI scanner cabinet (Autodoc) that is outfitted with highly sophisticated medical technologies for body assessment, error detection, and medication dispensing.
In my opinion, art, including movies, can shape human personalities and open up new horizons of creativity. On the other hand, medical devices are an essential component of healthcare, and their industrial development can result in significant benefits to the health system. Thus, I hope in the future to participate in biomedical engineering research and create medical devices that alleviate the suffering of patients.
On a personal level, I am a very helpful, open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. Furthermore, I am always eager to learn new skills and try new experiences in order to improve my personality, cultural intelligence, and communication. I am also very self-assured, but not arrogant, and when I discuss certain topics with friends, I try to demonstrate that my point of view is always correct. Good or bad, I try to describe myself the way I see myself in the mirror.
