A fuller view of the gospel definitely should affect how I live out my life. First, I need to understand that Jesus is the starting point of the gospel. It is not my gospel, but it is Christs gospel. I need to understand that gospel included an action of death on a cross, burial, and a resurrection. It is not my actions, but it is Christs actions. The gospel also includes conversion, which is death to life. I need to understand that the gospel is still going on. That there is still work to be done and that the Holy Spirit is leading me in those actions. I can better communicate the gospel by the way I live my life. The fruits of the spirit should shine through my life. I need to let the Holy Spirit work through me and not fight it. Being active in the church will also help me communicate the gospel in a better way because when you are surrounded by an assembly of believers, you too will grow in your faith. I can best explain the gospel as an ongoing story. It is Gods story and he is the main character, we are just a small part of it.
