Education Law Project Visual
You will be provided with key pieces of legislation/cases that have had an impact on American education (a choice menu by theme/topic is here (Links to an external site.)). You will summarize the legislation by “teaching” this legislation to the class using a visual. After consulting at least 3 sources to research your case, you will design your own visual that includes the
(1) name of the case;
(2) year of the case;
(3) context/decision of the case;
(4) a link to and 1-2 sentence summary of a recent (the more recent the better, but ideally within the past 5-10 years) news article that takes the themes from the case you researched and puts them into a current context; and
(5) citations of your 3 sources.
You can use the program of your choice to create your visual (a single Google Slide/PPT slide is recommended), which you will post on a class
