Conflicts Stories
Be careful of simply listing general statements. Think about always working toward proving a point. Think about the characters and the conflicts in these stories. The conflicts are not “obvious” in these stories.
In order to fully respond the following prompt, your response to this forum should be a minimum of two paragraphs.
Which character do you most identify with and WHY? Or which character do you NOT identify with and WHY?
Identify which story you are discussing.
Describe the character and the conflict.
WHY do you identify with this character? If you do NOT identify with the character, explain WHY. Provide specific REASONS/EXAMPLES as to WHY you identify or do not identify with a specific character.

Paragraph format
Step 1: Read the required readings.
Step 2: Choose four quotes that appeal to you. You need to quote from at least two different stories. quote from different stories. Do you notice repetition? Symbolism? Personification? Look for words that IMPLY AN IDEA.
Step 3: Create the Introduction to the Quote.
Step 4: Decide if you are going to write an integrated quote or a standard quote.
Step 5: Write out the entire Introduction to the Quote and the quote itself with the appropriate citation.
Step 6: You will now have FOUR quotes with clear introductions and citations.
Step 7: Choose one quote to analyze.
Step 8: Write three or more sentences after the quote explaining HOW the quote illustrates your idea.
