Give two (2) specific examples of a negative feedback mechanism, but summarize it in… short phrases listed in a bulleted(numbered format), from the 1) stimulus to 2) sensors to 3) control center to 4) effectors and 5) the result/effect.
What happens when our blood pressure increases? What happens when the blood pressure decreases? What happens when there is too much water (water intoxication)?
What happens when there is not enough water (dehydration)?
What happens when there is too much or too little calcium? sodium? thyroid hormones? potassium? Carbon dioxide? Low pH? High pH?
What happens when the body gets really cold?
