Aging
Choose an academic article on an area of aging that you are interested in reading about.
The following 4 sections in bold should be used as headings in your paper:
Summary: Say what article you read and summarize the main points of the article. For example: Did the article describe a problem in the aging field? What did the article find out about the problem? What are the recommendations of the authors/researchers who wrote the article? Someone should be able to understand what the article was about based on your summary. (3 to 4 paragraphs).
Discussion: Discuss your interest in this area of aging and what you learned from reading the article. Was the information in the article new to you? Have you experienced or observed in “real life” what the article talked about? (3 to 4 paragraphs)
Implications: In this section, you will discuss how the information/research presented in the article will be applicable to work with elders. Why is this information important? Is it helpful to the aging field? If so, how will it be helpful? (2 to 3 paragraphs)
Conclusion: In this conclusion, you will restate why the findings of the article are important and what should be done with them. (1 to 2 paragraphs
