Review the official ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, which can be found in your ICD-10-CM Coding Manual starting on page 1.
In your initial discussion post, you should:

If possible, find an example of your chosen coding convention(s) from either the Index or the Tabular (code descriptions).
Discuss either the process for selecting the principal diagnosis from Section II or the rules for reporting additional diagnoses from Section III.
