Compose a persuasive response (500 words minimum) that expresses an opinion about Gilligan’s claims that are specifically addressed in the light green, light blue, and yellow highlighted sections of the article.
Develop a main statement for Formal Essay 3 and underline it in the introductory paragraph of your essay.
Agree or disagree with Gilligan that “It would be beneficial to every man, woman and child in America, and harmful to no one, if we were to demolish every prison in this country and replace them with locked, safe and secure home-like residential communities . . . ,” but take a firm stand in your main statement.
