Stage 1: Company ID & Industry Analysis
You will complete this assignment by researching the industry and target market profile of this business.
The intent of this stage is to acquaint you with the business you plan to observe and to answer any questions about the overall project.
Stage 2: Develop Performance Standards
Develop the performance standards that you expect to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the business.
There will be a template provided to use for both Stage 2 & 3.
Stage 3: Observe the Business Operations
This is when you will observe and/or interact with the business.
This will include scoring the performance of the business against the standards you create using the scorecard template provided in Stage 2.
Stage 4: Business Analysis, Observations, Findings, & Recommendations
This is when you will finalize your analysis and observations of your selected business then make recommendations to improve some of the key performance standards you created.
