Supportive essay
Prepare and submit a referenced essay, supporting the approach and evidence used to create your poster (1500 words +10%). This should focus on the following:
An introductory paragraph (100-150 words) – what are you talking about in the essay? for example patient education/health promotion.
A main body considering;
Background information of the selected topic, including relevant pathophysiology and risk factors (300-350 words) – only focus on one type of skin cancer.
How you utilised theory of health promotion to target your client/patient group (350-400 words)
Identify (level 8) the key resources used, their message and how you ensured their suitability/quality for use in the poster (650-700 words)
A concluding paragraph (100-150 words).
