INSPECT CHECK SERVICE AND REPAIR HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC POWER SYSTEM
1. Draw a detailed block diagram of the assigned system or training aid. Describe each component and their function in the system.
2. Give a concise description of the operation of the system in writing. Assuming you are satisfied with your understanding of the systems operation, list in the form of a checklist, what you would look for as you carry out a visual inspection on the system.
3. Consider this scenario: Your shift colleague recently completed some repairs to the designated system above and left for the day. As team lead, in your inspection you found the system intact, the reservoir replenished, all components serviceable, including the newly installed system relief valve. To clear the system as serviceable you test the system and found the hand pump operates but when you selected the actuator to go up or down no movement occurred. All the components in the system are determined to be serviceable. Troubleshoot and resolve the problem
