Application – Get a coach
1. Listen to the TED Talk entitled Want to get great at something? Get a coach.
2. Use MS–Word to create a document named get–a–coach.docx to answer the questions that follow.
Include at the top of your document the assignment name, the course number and section, your name, and your name. Include each assignment question and number in your document to give the proper context for your response. Use complete sentences when answering each question and be sure to check your work before submitting it on Canvas (i.e., grammar and spelling).
3. Give one example of the informatics life cycle described in this TED Talk (i.e., transforming data to information, information, to knowledge, and knowledge to wisdom).
4. Give an example of the importance of thoughtful reflection and continuous improvement based on the experiences shared in this TED Talk.
5. Give an example of the importance of working with a coach that was described in this TED Talk.
6. Give an example of an evidence–based practice that came from empathy and trusted data that was described in this TED Talk.
7. Submit your get–a–coach.docx document on Canvas before the due date so you can participate in at least one document review cycle with me.
