Exploratory Data Analysis and Descriptive Statistics
I. Provide all TABLES AND GRAPHS for your data
A. These must include the following:
i. Classify EACH variable as qualitative or quantitative.
ii. Classify the quantitative variable as discrete or continuous.
iii. Frequency distribution for all of the variables.
iv. Relative frequency distribution for all of the variables.
v. Histogram for each of the quantitative variables.
vi. An ogive for the quantitative variables.
vii. What is the level of measurement for each of the variables?
b. What patterns, if any have you noticed about your data? This is particularly
important when analyzing the level of educational attainment and responses
to other questions.
c. Provide descriptive statistics for all the variables in your sample. Remember,
you are only describing your data.
d. What did you find out about your data?
TAKE EACH COLUMN OF THE DATA (variable) AND MAKE THE REQUIRED GRAPHS/CHARTS(frequency distribution table, histogram, and ogive)
